About Us

The goal of Explore Kansas City's website is to share some of what I've discovered and continue to discover here in Kansas City - the museums, restaurants, attractions, shopping, parks and best-kept secrets.

About Us

Welcome to Explore Kansas City.  We’re glad you’re here and hope you come back and visit often.

We are explorers by nature and are always searching for something interesting to do or someplace interesting to go here in Kansas City. That was exactly our goal when we moved here more than 10 years ago. We decided if we were going to live in such a great city, we were going to enjoy it. And since we weren’t rolling in the dough, we’d find ways to enjoy it as creatively and inexpensively as possible.

The goal of Explore Kansas City’s website is to share some of what we’ve discovered and continue to discover here in Kansas City – the museums, restaurants, attractions, shopping, parks and best-kept secrets. We’ll also serve up some “native knowledge” about some Kansas City attractions and events.

If you want to explore Kansas City too, this is your website.  Also follow Explore Kansas City on Facebook and Twitter.

Please feel free to leave comments. We’d love to hear from you.

Keep on exploring!

I did find this and I hope it’s helpful: The Public Art Navigator or P.A.N. for short is a fun FREE cell-phone audio tour featuring Kansas City’s impressive collection of outdoor public art in Kansas City. http://www.kcpan.net/map.htm. Thanks for your question!
